WCS Educators named Regional Teachers of the Year

Williamson County Schools is home to not one, but two of this year's Mid-Cumberland Regional Teachers of the Year.  The Tennessee Department of Education named Scales Elementary School Music Teacher Gail Merritt-Congdon Regional Teacher of the Year for grades pre-K through 4.  Heritage Middle School Teacher Phyllis Hasken received the regional honor for grades five through eight.  The two Williamson County educators will now be considered for Teacher of the Year honors for the state of Tennessee.
