High School Student/Parent Orientation Info

BRENTWOOD HIGH SCHOOL ORIENTATION

It's time to start preparing for school.  On August 11, Brentwood High School freshmen will arrive for a day of orientation.  Seniors, juniors and sophomores will not have an orientation this year.  Instead, they will wait to receive their class schedules, locker assignments, etc. on the first day of school.

Centennial High

The Cougar nation is ready to get the school year rolling. Orientation begins August 3 for Centennial High School seniors. Each grade level will have the opportunity to meet with teachers, tour the school and learn other valuable information designed to prepare them for the first day of class. Below are the dates and times for each orientation.   

Fairview High

Fairview High School will have orientation for freshmen August 11. The event will give the students a chance to become familiar with the school and meet some of the staff before beginning the school year on August 13.   

Franklin High

Franklin High School is ready to start another wonderful school year. Orientation begins Monday, July 27 for freshmen boys. Freshmen girls will have their orientation the following day. On Sunday, August 9, the parents of freshmen students are invited to attend an orientation/tea where they can meet the administration and learn more about the school.

Independence High

Independence High School Info Days will begin August 3. Info Days is a time for parents and students to visit the school and prepare for the upcoming year by receiving class schedules, textbooks, locker assignments and parking passes. In addition, ninth graders will have a Freshmen Orientation on Tuesday, August 11 at 8:30 a.m.

Middle College High

During the month of July, counselors at Middle College High School will meet once a week with new students to prepare them for the upcoming school year. Rather than have a day of orientation for each grade level, administrators determined it would be best to meet in smaller groups. Page High

Page High School will hold a student orientation for freshmen on August 11. The event gives the students a chance to meet their teachers and become familiar with the school. In addition, there will be an open house for students of all grade levels and their parents on Thursday, August 20 at 6 p.m.

Ravenwood High

Red Letter Days at RHS are rapidly approaching. Students will have the opportunity to get organized for the 2009-2010 school year by getting their parking pass, locker, schedule and books before the first day of school.  Below are the dates and times for each Red Letter Day. In addition, ninth graders will attend a Freshmen Orientation on August 5 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
