FVHS Grad Wins Telly Award

A Fairview High School graduate has done something few students have accomplished. Ryan Flake recently won a Bronze Telly Award for a Public Service Announcement he produced called "Picture Day". The Telly Awards honor the very best local, regional, and cable television commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions.
Flake's former Media Production teacher Bob King says he is extremely proud of Flake. "When I told him that he won a Bronze Telly Award for his PSA, I explained that this is a business level award, not a student award," said King. "Companies such as Disney, Sony, ABC, and many others typically enter the Telly Awards." Flake graduated from Fairview High School in May.
