Career Fair Vendors Needed
Published August 14, 2008
The Seventh Annual World of Possibilities Career Fair will be held November 20, 2008, at the Williamson County Ag Expo Park. This comprehensive career fair is being held to better inform eighth grade students and high school students about career opportunities available. Williamson County and Franklin Special School districts recognize that there are specific workforce needs for Williamson County and Middle Tennessee.
"We are taking an active role to introduce students to career opportunities and other emerging careers by offering more career
education within the curriculum," said Jackie Baggett, Williamson County Schools Career and Technology Coordinator. "The World of Possibilities Career Fair is an excellent strategy for getting students authentically engaged in learning about careers."
Businesses and organizations are invited to participate in the World of Possibilities Career Fair. This will be a great time to publicize, educate and recruit for local business, especially for those who choose to be an official sponsor for the event. Anyone interested in participating in the event can fill out an application by going to http://www.wcs.edu/careerfair/registration_for_business.htm.
