McDonald's Night at WES

Published October 4, 2007

Some Westwood Elementary School teachers recently learned all about the art of making fast food. The educators took part in an annual PTO fundraiser at the McDonald’s in Fairview.

On September 10, the teachers flipped burgers, scooped fries and worked the drive-thru for two hours to raise money for Westwood Elementary School.

As you can tell from the photos, the teachers had a blast working behind the counter. Dozens of students, parents and WES staff kept them busy.

Twenty percent of sales and 100 percent of tips were donated to Westwood Elementary School. The school managed to raise more than $800.
