Drag Race High Debut

Published January 24, 2008

The wait is almost over.  In February, the new TV show called Drag Race High will debut on Speed TV.  The reality show pits Fairview High School against East Hickman High to see which school can build the better race car.  Television crews followed the students through the entire process last semester.

Each school was given $10,000 to purchase a car and turn it into a full-blown racer.  Adults were not allowed to touch the vehicles while it was being built.  In December, the two schools traveled to Florida for the final showdown.  East Hickman High School won the competition but both schools put forth a valiant effort.

You can follow all the drama starting February 20 on Speed TV.  Check you local listings for the time.
