Drag Race High

Published October 4, 2007

Students at Fairview High School will be featured on a new reality TV show called “Drag Race High."  The show is a spin-off from the Speed Channel’s popular program “Pinks," which pits contestants against each other in a classic 1950’s-style drag race.

The students at Fairview High School will be given $10,000 to purchase a used car from a teacher, and turn it into a dragster.  Fairview will compete against East Hickman High School to see which school can build the faster car.  The students will prepare the vehicles, but a group of professionals will race them.

"Drag Race High" will air on the Speed Channel in February.
