Williamson County Schools Zoning Meetings Set
Published November 22, 2006
Public information meetings have been scheduled regarding the establishment of transportation zone lines for two new Williamson County elementary schools and the redrawing of lines for some Williamson County high schools.
Staff members will have maps and projections available for review, and they will only be prepared to answer questions regarding the zone lines and plans for the stated school on the designated night. For example, the staff will only be prepared to discuss the Longview Elementary zone lines during the session at Chapman’s Retreat on Tuesday, December 5. Staff members will not have materials for the new Nolensville elementary or the high school zones that night.
“These sessions are designed as come and go with no formal presentation,” said Zoning Specialist Susan Parker. “It’s a time for the community to review the plans and share comments with staff and School Board members.”
The meetings are scheduled as follows:
- Monday, November 27 at Sunset Elementary School for establishing zone lines for the new Nolensville Elementary
- Wednesday, November 29 at Centennial High for high school rezoning
- Tuesday, December 5 at Chapman’s Retreat Elementary for establishing zone lines for Longview Elementary
All meetings are from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the designated school library.
