Williamson County Schools Zone Line Changes

Published February 8, 2007

Zone lines for the new Longview and Nolensville elementary schools have been set. The School Board voted on the new lines at a special called meeting January 29. Zone lines for the new Nolensville Elementary School came with an amendment that any child in the Sunset Elementary zone would be allowed to attend Edmondson Elementary out of zone and then could continue through that feeder path to Brentwood Middle and Brentwood High as long as space was available at those schools. Per Board policy, no transportation would be provided to students electing to attend Edmondson out of zone.

The new 2007-08 zone lines for Nolensville and Sunset Elementary schools have been posted in the Edulog system. From now until the end of the school year, an address in the current Sunset boundary that has been rezoned to Nolensville will display two school zones of attendance—New Nolensville Elementary and Sunset Elementary.

The 2007-08 zone lines for Longview, Heritage and Chapman’s Retreat Elementary schools have also been posted in the Edulog system. From now until the end of the school year, an address in the Longview zone will display two school zones of attendance—Longview and its current school.
