Trinity Elementary Wins Second Place in Purity Contest
Published December 7, 2006
Drinking milk does a body good. It also does a school good! In October, Trinity Elementary participated in the Purity Milk Cap Contest, competing with other schools all around the state of Tennessee. Their efforts paid off and the school received second place out of 29 schools that participated. Trinity won $1,250 to be applied to the Trinity Track, a pep rally with Titans Mascot T-Rac, a Purity refreshment party, tickets for the Titans versus Jaguars game to the top cap contributors, and some autographed Titans gear. All prizes will be announced and awarded at pep rally with T-Rac on December 13.
The Trinity Elementary School community thanks all the Trinity families who drank Purity milk during the month of October and who saved those milk caps to help Trinity earn money for the Tiger Track. The Tiger Track will be one-third of a mile long and eight feet wide. It will be located in the back schoolyard and available to the community during non school hours.
