Former WCS Students' Art on Display at Frist Center

Nashville's Frist Center for the Visual Arts is currently displaying artwork by some former Williamson County students. The artwork is part of the center's Young Tennessee Artists: 2006 Statewide Advanced Placement Studio Art. The exhibition features paintings, drawings, photographs, and mixed-media works selected to show the best artwork by high school students across the state. Thirteen schools are represented.
Artwork by former Ravenwood High School students Carrie Allen and Alex Fortney are on display, as well as art by former Brentwood High School students Duane Mathes and David Czyz. Allen and Fortney's teacher at Ravenwood was Brad DeLuc, Mathes and Czyz's teacher at Brentwood was Kathy Humbert.
This exhibition will be on display in the Conte Community Arts Gallery at The Frist Center for the Visual Arts through January 7.
