Brentwood High Students Win Debate Tournaments

Congratulations to Brentwood High School students Chris Kaczmarek and Matt Stern! The two won first place at the prestigious National Early Bird Debate Tournament at Wake Forest University. The boys' coach is Brentwood High School Forensics Team Coach Harriet Medlin. Chris and Matt won this national prize over 54 other public forum teams! Again, congratulations to Chris and Matt on this award!

Congratulations are also in order for Brentwood High School student Aaseesh Polavarapu. Aaseesh recently received first place in the Lincoln-Douglas Debate at the 2006 Winfield Scott Debate Classic hosted by Starr's Mill High School in Fayetteville, Georgia. The Winfield Scott Debate Classic annually attracts teams from throughout the southeast to provide a high level of debate competition. Aaseesh is also coached by Harriet Medlin. Congratulations to Aaseesh on his achievement!
